Orchard Spray Diary & Chemical Application Template
Log crop protection applications once, and let the workbook work out the two dates that matter: when a crew can re-enter a block, and when it can be picked.
No email, no account, no trial. Opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.
What's Included in this Template
One row per product per block: date, time, area, target, rate, water volume, wind, temperature and operator. Registration number, active ingredient, REI and PHI fill in automatically.
The payoff sheet. One row per block showing the earliest date it can be picked, with a red DO NOT HARVEST while any pre-harvest interval is still running.
Your product register — registration number, active ingredient, REI and PHI entered once per product, so they can never drift between rows.
Your blocks or spray units with area in hectares, which drives the total-product and total-volume calculations.
Applicator names, certification numbers and expiry dates, and equipment calibration dates. Expired certificates turn red.
Key Benefits of this Template
- Works out re-entry times in hours and earliest harvest dates in days, per application, automatically.
- Calculates total product and total spray volume from block area and application rate.
- Type each product once — registration number, active ingredient, REI and PHI are looked up, never retyped.
- Flags a product used in the log but missing from your register, so a row can't look complete while carrying no intervals.
- Prints cleanly for a tractor cab or a packhouse wall, and opens in Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice and Numbers.
Inherent Spreadsheet Limitations
- You enter REI and PHI from the product label — the workbook repeats what you type and cannot verify it against any registration database.
- Does not fetch live weather; wind speed, direction and temperature are typed at the time of spraying.
- No audit trail — anyone with the file can change a past row and nothing records that it happened.
- Not legal advice and not a certification product. It does not make you compliant with GlobalG.A.P., USDA or any other standard.

Kropigo gives small commercial growers task assignments the crew checks off on a phone, low-stock alerts, receipt capture, and block records that carry from one season to the next.
