About Kropigo
Who is Kropigo designed for?
Kropigo is built for small and mid-size growers — orchardists, vineyard owners, berry and citrus farmers, olive growers, and market gardeners. Whether you are managing a backyard micro-orchard with one helper or a commercial operation with dozens of crew members across multiple blocks, Kropigo is designed to fit your operation.
What does Kropigo actually do?
Kropigo replaces the paper notebooks, text messages, and spreadsheets that run most small farms. In one shared system you can map your growing blocks, log harvests in the field, track inventory, record expenses, coordinate crew tasks, and see your profitability — all from your phone out in the rows and your computer back at the desk.
Do I need any technical knowledge to use Kropigo?
None at all. If you can send a text message and take a photo on your phone, you can run Kropigo. There is nothing to install, no server to set up, and no formulas to learn. A guided setup gets your workspace ready in a few minutes, and most growers log their first harvest the same day.
Plans & Billing
How can I try Kropigo for free?
You can start a 14-day free trial of our Pro plan with full access to every feature. No credit card is required to sign up—you just need a valid email address to log in and start mapping your orchard immediately.
Do I need to put in my credit card just to try it?
No. You can sign up and start using the app immediately without a credit card. We only ask for payment details if you decide to subscribe after your 14-day free trial ends.
What happens after the 14-day trial ends?
Once your 14 days are up, your account will change to read-only mode. Your logs, maps, and records are completely safe—we never delete your data without asking. You can subscribe to any of our plans whenever you're ready to start entering new data again.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your Settings → Plans & Billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals immediately, and you will retain full access to your plan's features until the end of your current billing period.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal—no questions asked. After the 14-day window, payments are non-refundable, and we do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle. To request a refund, please contact us at kropigoapp@gmail.com.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are processed securely by Paddle, our merchant of record. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as PayPal and local payment methods depending on your country.
What exactly is included in each plan?
Our plans are designed to fit your farm's size. The Hobbyist ($5/mo or $4/mo billed annually) is best for gardens up to 2 acres. Essentials ($19/mo) supports up to 5 crew members and 15 acres. Pro ($49/mo) scales up to 15 crew members and 100 acres with task assignments and receipt tracking. Master ($99/mo) offers unlimited acreage, up to 30 crew members, and full cost analysis. Compare all details on our pricing page.
What size farm is Kropigo designed for?
Kropigo is built to scale from small backyard micro-orchards and hobbyist plots up to commercial farms and multi-location operations spanning hundreds of acres. You only pay for the acreage and crew slots you actually use.
Can I change my plan later if I plant more trees?
Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing cycles at any time directly from your account settings as your farm grows or seasonal needs change.
Is there a discount if I pay for the whole year?
Yes! If you choose Annual Billing, you save 20% compared to paying month-to-month. It’s a great way to lower your overhead for the growing season.
Who owns my farm data? Can other growers see my yields?
You have 100% ownership of your data. Your records are private and protected; other growers cannot see your maps, yields, or financial info. Your history is always yours—contact us any time and we'll provide a copy of your records.
Is there a permanently free plan?
There is no permanent free tier, but your 14-day Pro trial gives you full access to every feature at zero cost — no credit card needed. After the trial, the most affordable option is our Hobbyist plan at $5/month, designed for home growers managing up to 2 acres.
What is a 'Plant Unit' and how many do I need?
Kropigo plans are sized by acreage and crew—not by individual plant counts. You can track every tree, vine, or crop in your operation as long as your total managed land fits your plan: Hobbyist covers up to 2 acres (ideal for a backyard orchard or micro-vineyard), Essentials up to 15 acres, Pro up to 100 acres, and Master is unlimited. There is no separate cap on the number of individual plants you register within your land.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits during harvest season?
Good news: we never cap the number of plants or trees you log, and your crew is never blocked from recording harvests, tasks, or new plantings in the field. Your plan is sized by managed land (acreage), blocks, and crew—so if your operation outgrows its plan, the farm owner simply upgrades from the office to add more land or crew. Field work never stops for a billing limit.
Can I scale my crew size up and down for seasonal work?
Yes. You can add extra crew slots during peak pruning or harvest months and remove them during the winter downtime. Your billing adjusts dynamically so you only pay for active crew slots during the months you actually need them.
Getting Started
Do I need to buy a special phone to use this?
No special equipment needed. Kropigo works on the computer, smartphone, or tablet you already own (PC, Mac, iPhone, Android, or iPad). There is nothing to download or install—you simply access it through a web browser, which means you will need an internet connection. If your phone can take a photo and open a webpage, it can run Kropigo.
Do I have to type in every single tree one by one?
Not at all. You can use our Batch Mode to add dozens of trees at once or upload a simple Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx) to map your entire orchard in just a few minutes.
What are Plot ID and Row Number for?
These help you build a structured 'digital twin' of your plantings. For example, designating a tree as 'Plot A, Row 3, Plant 5' allows you and your crew to locate it in seconds in the field.
How do I get my crew set up on the app?
It’s as easy as sending a text. You can invite your team via a secure invite link in your Team settings. Once they join, they’ll see their daily tasks and maps right on their own phones.
Can I use the app on my computer and my phone?
Yes. Kropigo is a web-based platform that works on both computers and mobile devices. Use your phone or tablet for quick data entries in the field, and log in on your computer when you want to view reports or plan your week.
What happens if I break or lose my phone in the field?
Don't worry—your data is saved safely in the cloud. Just log into your account on a new device, and all your records will be right there exactly where you left them.
How long does it take to get my farm set up?
Most growers have their workspace ready in under 20 minutes. All you need to open your account is a location name and a physical address. You then add your blocks, plants, and crew at your own pace — there is no requirement to enter all your data before you start using the app.
Is there help or support available if I get stuck?
Yes. You can email our team directly at kropigoapp@gmail.com any time. Master plan subscribers also receive direct phone and email support. You can also visit our Help Center for step-by-step guides and a full walkthrough video.
How do I import my existing farm data from a spreadsheet?
Moving from spreadsheets is easy. In your settings, you can download our pre-formatted Excel templates for Plants and Inventory. Paste your data in, upload the file, and Kropigo will instantly build your digital map and ledger. If you get stuck, our support team can format your spreadsheet for you.
Daily Orchard Life
Will this work if I don't have a signal in the back rows?
Yes! Our offline logging lets you record harvests and tasks anywhere. Once you're back near Wi-Fi or a cell signal, the app syncs everything automatically.
How does the 'Morning Snapshot' help me start my day?
Every morning, the app gives you a quick to-do list and local weather alerts. You’ll know exactly which blocks need attention before you even head out to the shed.
Is there an easier way to log harvests than typing numbers?
Yes. We’ve designed a Field Tool with big buttons and simple menus so you can record bins or buckets with just a couple of taps, even if your hands are full.
Can I really stop keeping paper receipts for expenses?
Yes! Just snap a photo of your receipt in the app. Kropigo stores the image and automatically updates your expense records and inventory stock levels for you.
How do I know when I'm running low on fertilizer or spray?
The Digital Tool Shed tracks your supplies as you use them. The app will send you a 'Low-Stock Alert' so you have plenty of time to reorder before you run out.
Can my workers use voice notes instead of texting me?
Yes. Crew members can use voice notes to report issues (like a broken irrigation line) while their hands are busy working, so nothing gets forgotten.
Does the app help me see which part of the farm is making money?
Our Profitability Reports show you exactly which blocks are producing the most fruit and which ones are costing too much in labor or supplies.
Will the app warn me about frost or bad weather?
Yes. You get local weather alerts directly in your dashboard, helping you decide when to spray or when to protect your trees from a freeze.
How do I find a specific tree that needs a replacement?
Your Digital Map tracks every tree's history. You can quickly see the health of a single tree or a whole row and navigate right to it using the map on your phone.
Can I keep track of my tractors and equipment here too?
Yes. Use the Inventory and Gear section to track maintenance and storage for your expensive equipment so everyone knows where the gear is located.
How do I know if a worker actually finished their assigned row?
When a worker marks a task as 'Done' on their phone, it updates your dashboard instantly. You can see the progress of your whole crew in real-time.
Does Kropigo tell my crew exactly where to go?
Yes. You can link tasks to specific rows or blocks on the map. Your crew will see exactly where they need to be, reducing confusion and 'wrong row' mistakes.
Can I send my records to my accountant at the end of the year?
Yes. Kropigo keeps your expenses, labor, and yields organized in clear summaries you can sit down and review with your accountant at tax time, so nothing gets lost in a shoebox of receipts.
Why is this better than just using a basic spreadsheet?
Spreadsheets don't give you weather alerts, don't work offline in the dirt, and can't show you a map of your trees. Kropigo automates the math and keeps your whole team on the same page.
Can my field workers see my farm's financial records or crop prices?
No. Kropigo has strict role-based permissions. General crew members (Contributors) can only see their daily tasks, log harvests, and map blocks. Sensitive financial data—such as input costs, crop sale prices, receipts, and the Season Margin KPI—is restricted exclusively to Owners and Managers.
How does the 'Mobile Entry Processor' prevent data errors from the field?
Think of it as your digital inbox. When crew members log offline notes, capture photos, or dictate voice logs in the rows, they don't immediately alter your permanent ledger. Instead, they flow into the Mobile Entry Processor on your desktop, where you can review, categorize, and approve them before they update your records.
Does Kropigo generate compliance logs for chemical spray audits?
Yes. Every time you log an inventory intervention (like pesticide or fertilizer application), Kropigo automatically records the operator, date, block, exact row, and quantity. These timestamped, auditor-ready logs stay organized in one place, so you can pull up exactly what was applied where and when inspectors or organic certification auditors request them.
Security & Privacy
Is my farm data secure?
Yes. Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) with full database encryption. All network connections use modern TLS/SSL encryption to protect transmissions. We perform regular secure backups so you never lose your records.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. Kropigo is operated by DigiStra s.r.o. based in Slovakia (European Union) and fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect and process data in strict accordance with European privacy regulations.
Can I export or delete all my data?
Yes. Your data belongs to you. If you need a copy of your records, email us at kropigoapp@gmail.com and we'll provide an export. If you wish to delete your account and clear all associated data permanently, you can do so in Settings or by emailing the same address.
What happens to my data if Kropigo shuts down?
Your records are always yours. In the highly unlikely event that Kropigo is discontinued, we commit to providing at least 90 days' notice and a way to download all your farm data so you can take it with you.
Crop Types & Availability
Can I use Kropigo for crops other than orchards?
Yes! While many examples refer to orchards and trees, Kropigo works perfectly for vineyards, berry patches, citrus groves, olive groves, and organic vegetable farms. You can customize the Category, Type, and Variant classification fields to match any crop you cultivate.
Is Kropigo available in my country and language?
Kropigo is currently available worldwide in English. Payments are processed by Paddle, which handles localized tax compliance in over 200 regions globally. Full i18n localization and additional languages are in our development pipeline.
Is there a desktop app, or is it browser-only?
Kropigo is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can run it inside any modern web browser on your computer. On your smartphone or tablet, you can add it directly to your home screen for an app-like experience that works offline in the field.
